DESMOND CHILD INDUCTED INTO THE SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME

On June 19th, Desmond will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The induction will take place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Desmond Child & Rouge will reunite for a rare performance. Joan Jett will give an induction speech in honor of Desmond. Other writers being inducted include Albert Hammond and Alan Menken. Once inducted, Desmond will join the prestigious list of honorees which include Frances Scott Key, Irving Berlin, Sammy Cahn, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Burt Bacharach, James Brown, Eric Clapton, Buddy Holly, Billy Joel, Elton John and others.
